dance in, maybe a towel. You can dance either barefoot or in
dance shoes. Please no street shoes on the dance floor.

CYCLES™
Rooted in Gabrielle Roth’s
5Rhythms movement practice, we use our dance like
archeologists to dig beneath the surface, to seek buried
treasures and pearls of wisdom gleaned from our own life
experience. The 5Rhythms offer us both a map to
understanding and a way to deeply embody the patterns,
waves, and vibrations that organically move us from birth to
death.
Our journey will be a deep investigation into our personal
relationship to the rhythms and rituals, the teachings and
traditions, the people and places that have formed and
informed who we are.
Every session will be a deeper dance into the parts of us we
wish to celebrate and honor, as well as those parts we wish
to let go.
Moving with a diverse group of people enriches our way. The
work of Cycles focuses us on our common ground, providing us
with an innovative, creative prism through which to view our
journey.
Please bring a journal, some family photos, and an object of
deep meaning to you.
Cycles is an up close and personal look at our own lives,
our birth, our upcoming death and everything and everyone
between.

The Focus: letting go of the past and initiation into
manhood and womanhood.
The Outcome: We get behind our own story without being ruled
by it.

Mirrors™
(Seeing the Self)
A 5Rhythms®
Mirrors Workshop is the unveiling of the battle between the
ego and our most soulful self. Mirrors level work is the
most advanced and challenging investigation and lives in the
domain of the mind. In Mirrors, the challenges become
greater as we dive deeper in the ego, dancing with the world
of our speaking self.
In Mirrors we receive the tools to identify our ego, thus
creating the possibility of making a choice as to which part
of us gets to use our mouth, our hands, our heads, our feet,
our eyes and ears. We become archeologists and dig through
our own ruins, anthropologists who curiously step back and
study our own rituals. Together we peel back layers, make
muscles pray for mercy, empty out emotions, lay down masks,
learn to make fun of our egos and dance til we disappear.
And in the process, we realize we have a choice, a way out
of the mindless into the mindful.
BEING LOVING KNOWING SEEING HEALING
The Focus: taking responsibility for our actions and
reactions.
The Outcome: Knowing who we are and who we are not is a
major contribution to a better world.
What to bring:
Please read the Mirrors chapter in maps to ecstasy – and if
you have done that already, re-read it
- props for the ego theatre!
- a blanket or something to sit on
- your journal, something to write
- a towel, if you sweat a lot

Price for both workshops

Registration is valid with the date of payment! Places in
these workshops are limited and the registrations will be
considered in the order of the incoming payment.
We offer a 15 % discount of the
full price for 5RTA members (Trained 5R-teachers Only ***)
*** We cant offer the discount,
if the workshop is part of prereqs for your 5Rhythms teacher
training. It wouldnt be fair for people to save workshops
for after the Training and then get a discount that others
didn't get because they did it on time with their
application. If these workshops are prerequisite that
you did'nt complete before starting training, discount is
not offered.
Cancellation Policy
If a participant wants to cancel their
registration up to 4 weeks before the event, they will
receive a full refund minus a Dkr 500 processing fee.
2 weeks before, they will receive a full refund minus Dkr
1000.
If a participant cancels
1 week before the workshop, they will receive full refund
minus a 50 % processing fee.
Less than a week, their will, their refund is subject to
participant replacement. If a replacement is registered,
participant will receive a full refund minus a 25 %
processing fee.
If a participation does not show up for the workshop without
communication, their registration payment will not be
refunded.

2 days of Heartbeat for Cycles
We recommend
a Cycles Workshops for participation in Mirrors
All workshop hours contribute to 5Rhythms® teachers training
prerequisites.
